Acrobatics and Circus Antics
To make the book ‘Acrobatics and Circus Antics’, ten young acrobats training at a circus school were photographed. The book contains fourteen different acts and vividly conveys the pleasure of the circus. For a blind reader it’s difficult to imagine an acrobatic performance, but an innovative printing technique makes it possible to present images in a tactile way. This inclusive book enables all readers – blind or sighted – to read about acrobatics, listen to stories and explore photographs using touch (and perhaps even copy the acts).
